Hi, I'm Elaine

The founder of Smart Time Fitness, a keen fitness enthusiast with a true passion for what I do. Being brought up on a farm, the importance of fitness, health and nutritious food was instilled at a young age. As a keen runner, having ran many marathons and ultra marathons, it made sense for me to start a career in the fitness industry. However, it was only when I became a mother that the penny dropped, highlighting the importance​ that exercising had on physical and mental health.

My programs are designed using the knowledge of my own experiences, highs, lows and challenges that come with being a mother and understanding the importance movement has on mental health. How our bodies change after childbirth and the lifestyle adaptions we need to make in order to sustain a healthy balance.

Experiencing the negative effects that food can have on mood, energy levels and gut health I then furthered my knowledge in becoming a certified nutrition coach. Learning how to eat for my body type and lifestyle has made such a huge positive change to my overall health and well-being.

After developing diastasis recti (this explains it) and not knowing what it was, I decided to further my career in anti and post natal fitness in London. Having a constant bloated tummy which had a strange shape and a sore back ( which was
unusual for me I became obsessed with DR and how to fix it. I
soon realised that the endless amounts of sit ups I was used to
doing could actually be making my condition worse. Being told I
needed to avoid certain exercises and movements was so
confusing but eventually I learned how to heal and strengthen my core safety and effectively. And can gladly say its the strongest it's ever been.

What I offer

A unique experience in group, semi private and private classes, delivered live by me. Whether that be first thing in the morning, on your lunch break,  in the office or in between the babies nap times.

We run fun, live, friendly yet challenging classes tailored to suit particular goals - at a time that suits you. Recognising each client’s individual requirements. You are personally trained and guided safely through each workout ensuring correct techniques are carried out and assisted if and when necessary. Client care is matchless and follow ups are always taken ensure that maximum benefits are gained.

You will learn how to exercise according to your body and lifestyle needs, develop healthy lifestyle patterns outside of classes. Learn how to enjoy healthier foods, make better choices and nourish your body without fad short lived diets, without depriving yourself. Understand fully, the importance of the relationship between diet and exercise and how it works. How exercise and nutrition improves your overall well-being. The smart method is the ultimate way to achieving long-lasting sustainable results, both mentally and physically, it is time out for you to become the best version of yourself!

We offer studio classes for those who prefer to workout in person. These are a unique blend of strength and pilates designed to target the deepest muscles and gain flexibility. These hands on  group classes ensure correct technique is carried out and exercises are executed with complete control and precision. Classes are designed to be challenging but not  taxing on the nervous system. They don't involve as many compound exercises. Therefore don't leave you feeling exhausted. You will feel energised and be able to sustain consistency.

Pilates for Runners 🏃‍♂️ 

 

Designed especially for women and men who enjoy running and want to keep a good level of flexibility, improve joint mobility and body awareness. 

- Improve your core strength for an efficient running technique to avoid injury and improve speed!

- Learn to control breath. Having the ability to control your breathing improves focus and reduces fatigue.

- Recovery. Pilates focus is on lengthening the muscles and reduces muscle soreness and tightness.

- Rehabilitation. Ideal for low impact strength work as it's joint friendly and may decrease recovery time!

'I first started Elaine after winning her competition in 2019.

Elaine has changed my life in regards to fitness. I’m a busy mom of 3 and finding time to get to classes was a challenge, I always felt  guilty about leaving the kids to go to a class. But now I simply log on when I get up on morning and everyone is asleep.I love getting up as it is my ME time. 

Elaine has always been so patient and understanding her knowledge about exercise is amazing. She has such a passion for it and also made me enjoy working out also. I always speak so highly about her because I honestly believe she is the best in the business'
